Relocation Advisory Services Ltd (RAS) would like to inform all its corporate clients, their employees and all its personal clients about the use of their personal information that we hold and how we process them.
We engage directly with corporate where employee records are shared with RAS to process personal information in order to obtain visas. Employees in such instances can approach their employers to request access, amend or delete the records held by RAS.
Our personal clients can contact us in case they would like to access, amend or delete the records.
Personal information we hold and how we process
RAS provides immigration advisory services to obtain visa approvals. RAS collects personal information and sensitive data in order to process visa applications. It cannot provide the service without the personal information of the individuals including their family members, if required.
We hold copies of passports, visas, Biometric Residence Permits, marriage & birth certificates, educational certificates etc. Some of the data requested is considered sensitive as it is related to criminal conviction and biometric data. This data is required by Government authorities to process and grant a visa to the individual. We seek to collect personal information that is required for the purpose.
This information is processed to complete visa applications on behalf of individuals/employees. It is then submitted to the relevant Government authorities for consideration.
We also provide follow-up services and in such cases we use the information we gathered and processed previously.
We process personal information in order to comply with our regulatory obligations and record-keeping requirements.
All the personal information shared, stored will be used only for the purpose mentioned above and will only be disclosed if required by law.
We ensure and maintain appropriate checks to safeguard and protect against loss, misuse, alteration of data.
Third parties who assist us in fulfilment of our services abide by applicable privacy and dats protection laws.
We retain personal information for the period we are providing our services; or as per the terms of our servicing contracts with corporate; or as agreed with clients; or as required by law and our regulator; and then delete all the records in date order.
We use ‘session cookies’ which will expire at the end of a browser session and we also use ‘persistent cookies’ that will be stored for longer on your browser and will have an expiration date or is deleted by you.
